The progressive goal is to elect a state Supreme Court that will rewrite state law against everything from Act 10 to abortion to Congressional electoral maps. Democrats are betting that progressive animus against Donald Trump and Mr. Musk will carry the day, but Wisconsin voters should know the real stakes are who will write the law—judges or legislators.

And we won two elections in FL. I'm going to guess that they are seats that we already held that needed filling by special election.

And the typical lefty "analysts" are screaming that these races show Trump and Musk are pissing people off.

Both R's won in FL comfortably, but their margins were not as big as previously. Gaetz won his district last year by something like 30 points and I think the guy who won it yesterday "only" managed about half that.

I kind of suspect like most midterms and special elections, the people who are pissed show up and those who are content sit home.

Gun owners can especially counted on to not turn out for important off year or special elections. It's a cult thing that says "shoot ourselves in the foot". I've been noticing this trend since the 1980's when I used to try and help the get out to vote through the gun club and the NRA. Silly me.
