I am sure - no, I know for a fact - that Il Duce had legions of Italians who loved him so much nothing he did would dissuade them. He won election by a landslide (not 1.5%). When someone put up facts to suggest he was a fake, they just called that person names (or disappeared them).

What makes you think these are the type of gun crimes they will prioritize? I suspect they are not even on the radar given the problems DC is facing right now. They NEED to prosecute gun crimes. That is a pretty good focus only 60 days into the new administration. There are times when it isn't paranoia because they really are coming after you, but this is clearly not that time.
