M60 on Form 3 now available
Transferrable form 4 M60 for sale in Pennsylvania
The weapon has not been fired since the military?
A tad bit of history on this weapon; at some point in 1989 Taylor MFG posted these for sale in the shotgun news as rebuilt receivers, he had a total of 4, I bought one and contacted Dennis Todd, Darby Pa. asked he send his FFL to get the transfer started, he was my go to guy buying machineguns, I told Dennis he had 3 more and I do believe Dennis bought the remaining 3 - Months went by and I contacted Dennis who told me they had issues with the rails that was holdup on shipping. I do think i picked this up at the farm complex from Dennis when it eventually arrived like a year after initial purchase. That was the last time I had seen Dennis as buying our first home took away toy money. The rails on this had not been right, I could not get a bolt to slide properly it would bind and hard stop, too busy with a new home to deal with it & I had a RIA to shoot cars with so it went into the bottom of the guncase. I never seen Dennis to ask how he made out as my receiver had fubar rails.
The receiver sat till Dec 2020 At which time i sent it to US Ord as Maremont had closed the doors I do think by that time. ($3500 receipt from US Ord for rebuild on receiver) starting with the excellent USGI Maremont trunion from Taylor, new current chromelined tube & current complete new rail setup installed by Bob at US Ord - receipt in hand and goes to buyer.
The parts kit (pictured) came from J&T Surplus Kentucky back in 1990 if i remember correctly. Every part is new.
So you get a Maremont rebuilt by US Ord, there is no markings by US Ord or Taylor MFG on this particular unit, also it uses the Maremont serial number aside from the paperwork its a Maremont, i guess in all honesty the Maremonts had a gas tube riveted & US Ord puts a small weld on the tube again superior to a rivet (PICTURED)
I may have the Shotgun news ad just need to find it.
I will assemble & you can fire this in my large backyard upon approval of transfer or willing to work with buyer on a transfer that is comfortable for both parties.
Trades hmmm I had 3 Colt M16s M16a2s I bought from Dennis over the years, regretting selling them so thats the only trade i may consider.
Please do not waste my time & I will give you the same respect, if you are not interested in buying this please stay out of my post.
The serial number is private & goes to the buyer exclusively.
$100k willing to partial trade for a Form 4 Colt M16 types / if it s not a Colt I am not interested.
Please email direct as I don't have time to check here daily.
