They shouldn't. Anymore than the fudds in the farm bureau and their no Sunday bullshit.
I'm pretty sure if Jesus is real, he doesn't give rat's ass about Sunday hunting.

Interesting after reading all the comments, no one has taken into consideration the current economical impact on the average persons pocket book. That may be a huge factor in spending in my opinion. People are flat broke. They don't have excessive money to spend on non essential goods. Maybe the Sat opener has some effect on revenue for small business but probably not anywhere near as much as Bidenomics. You look at the timing that this article encapsulates and it coincides with the plandemic, the biden administration economic policies and the flat out corruption of the last four years.
As far as the Saturday opener, KEEP it the opener. As far as Sunday Hunting, open Sunday hunting on public lands throughout. It allows time for young hunters to be able to have more time doing traditional things instead of rotting away on electronics and being brainwashed in schools. It allows for families to have an opportunity to spend more time together and quite possibly could help with thinning the heard to help mitigate the CWD and EHD issues the Entire state is dealing with.

Oh and Thank You Dan Laughlin and PA Game Commission for getting this Sunday Hunting opportunity on tap in Pennsylvania.

Good Luck Everyone who will be in the Woods this Saturday and Sunday. I sure hope to fill a few tags. Be Safe and Be Lawful

Everybody against Saturday opener and Sunday hunting, creating the opportunity for MORE hunters to enjoy the sport, could simply stick to their historical schedule, take off Monday and enjoy the hunt.

Why can't they go on Fri, shop in town on the weekend, and hunt on Mon like before?

Because they didnt put the work in to scout etc and rely on the extra hunters on opening day to move the deer around. Open sundays and semiautos for hunting

You're comparing Christmas and deer season opener?
