PA Waiting Period
I'm new to PA. Is there a waiting period for handgun purchases in PA?
Sorry guys - I found the answer on a previous thread. Please disregard the question.Last edited by Tango Victor; December 6th, 2008 at 11:19 AM.

Re: PA Waiting Period
Nope--go in, pay, have the required "checks" done on you and walk out with it. Same as with long guns.

Re: PA Waiting Period
Yep ,there is a wait. You wait as long as it takes to fill out the paperwork, then for the dealer to phone it in and then to hand over the money and walk out. Total time assuming no criminal history, probably like 20 minutes.

Re: PA Waiting Period
I have been paying off my credit cards for the last year (Almost out from under!) so I have a waiting period till I can save money to buy another one.
My record is 5 handguns in one purchase-I was celebrating my 60th birthday and my retirement last year.
