Or am I allready damaging it? Seems factory fresh I see that small wear between the various chambers and I assume if it were blued you would see it even more.

Am I doing something wrong here?
That's called a cylinder drag line. Every S&W (and most other revolvers) will have one eventually. It's inherent to the design of most revolvers. I'd be more worried if it didn't. Colt single actions and their clones are an exception. You shouldn't see a drag line on an 1873 revolver. If you do, your timing is possibly out of whack or someone dropped the hammer from half cock.

Another thing to be mindful of with any revolver - do not flip the cylinder open or closed. Flicking it open can damage the crane, and flicking closed can damage the pawl. And never ever, ever, ever, flip a Webley or any other breaktop revolver open. You will damage your gun in very short order.

What Ronin said. S&W revolvers get a drag line, they're designed that way. He's correct on the SAA as well.

That is what I figured but I just wanted to make sure I wasn*t doing something wrong. When I close the cylinder, I*m very careful. I don*t slam it, but I firmly push it into place and then I rotate the cylinder until it locks in place. It seems that when you rotate the cylinder it will naturally hit that metal protrusion, and cause that drag Mark
