50 State concealed carry reciprocity

Trump just announced when he gets in office - "No matter which state you’re in, if you’ve got your concealed carry license, each state will still have to honor it - for example, you have a Florida concealed carry permit - California would have to honor it."

I think anyone who has said in the past "I'd trade the right to own ___ for national reciprocity" should be forced to honor that "trade" on an individual level.

I don't know how that would work, my ccw isn't even legal to exist in some states. Yet I can carry it across state lines into that state?

I*m all for it.

But, certain states had a hissy fit when LEOSA was passed for LE even though there was a standard that had to be met. Can you imagine some states like CA, NY or NJ having to recognize and except license from states like PA where all you have to do is have a clean record and fill out an application????

Imagine all the gnashing of teeth at all the training centers who's business would be impacted by the loss of all the requirements to carry.

I guess we will have to wait and see - and see how people react to being forced to attend classes as a trade off if it turns out that way.

Then tell all the poofa guys who would happily sign up for classes, submit fingerprints, and more in order to carry anywhere.
