Question about Officer Store in Coatesville
Am interested in purchasing a G23 Gen5 Blue Label and the Officer Store has the model I want in stock. My question is are they an FFL so I can purchase directly from them or do they only ship to FFLs?

They are a FFL store. You can purchase from them directly.

Call them first before driving over there. I was treated very poorly there because I am not a police officer. Ask them if they sell to civilians now.

I bought a couple firearms from them. Blue Label. And holsters over the years. I was treated very well. Maybe because I was a cop or maybe because I am genuinely a nice guy.
Ironically I am looking for a Glock 23 also, before I retire.

Re: Question about Officer Store in Coatesville
I'm with Jen on this one. I've gone there twice since they opened sales to the general public. The first time the guy behind the counter was talking to two cops and completely ignored my wife and I, but made comments to his cop buddies that it's been a shitshow since they let civilians in. We promptly left. Went back a few years later because I'd heard on this very message board that they'd changed. Nope. I went in and was looking around. Their prices were MSRP or higher. Saw the wall of police turn-ins and heard the guys working the shop tell a patron that they had several guns for less than $400. I asked which ones and they asked what department I worked for. I told them I wasn't LE. From that point on they wouldn't talk to me. Once again, I left, and have no plans to go back.
And I'm genuinely a nice guy in person.

Re: Question about Officer Store in Coatesville
I prefer TSS over Officer store. The prices are better, the sales people are down to earth and very informed, they have a nice range and there is the last Perkins restaurant in the area next door. I don't mind being around Police or having a store that caters to them but I don't like being around arrogant dicks. Officer store is a lot closer to my house than TSS but I'll take the drive instead of patronizing them. I haven't been to Trop's yet. I was there when it was Village Arms and they were OK. It's about the same time/mileage for me to Trop's or TSS. I'm just treated very well at TSS so I go there.

Re: Question about Officer Store in Coatesville
I picked up a Blue Label Glock today at the showroom in Coatesville. An older gentleman was handling the gun sales. I let him know that I had a GSSF coupon up front and didn't perceive being treated any differently than a LEO as others have experienced. I did have to wait a few extra minutes for someone else to come keep an eye on the showroom since the gun section is in the back of the store and a separate room, but the salesman was friendly and the service was efficient, though a bit slow. I wasn't in a hurry, so I was fine with the old guy taking his time. PICS was $5 and there was no extra surcharge tacked on like some other area Blue Label dealers do.
I did notice an attitude problem with one of the other employees that the salesman called when he needed assistance. He seemed genuinely upset that he had to come to the showroom, then again when he was asked to retrieve my gun from the warehouse because the "warehouse guy" was busy handling something.
I did call the day before to make sure the gun I wanted was in stock and the woman who answered was very nice and professional. The in store price was lower than the price on the website. I'm not sure if that was a fluke or their standard practice.

They've been nice to me in the ffl vault room for a police trade in purchase.
I would recommend them to anyone off my positive experience
