A small road closure along Salem Road will have a larger impact on Archbald traffic over the next few weeks as the state Department of Transportation continues work on the Casey Highway.

PennDOT will close Route 1012, or Salem Road, for paving starting Monday directly beneath the Casey Highway overpass by Exit 4, according to a news release Friday. The department expects to reopen Salem Road in mid-October, though work is weather dependent.

All ramps will remain open on the Casey Highway, but the Salem Road closure will require detours to either Exit 3 (Jessup) or Exit 5 (Jermyn/Mayfield) and then back to Exit 4, according to PennDOT.

I would check before going to the range during that time span. just an FYI.
