    Default Son to mother transfer shotgun is legally in PA or how works ?

    Hello everyone
    A son of a friend recently married but the wife don’t like firearms and the guy have a shotgun and He wants to give it to his mother,mom have rifles and pistols,how is the process to the son give the shotgun to your mom?
    Need a transfer of a FFL or in the county sheriff office?
    Both are in Butler County
    I appreciate all answers thank you

    Get a new wife!!

    Im pretty sure A son to mom transfer is just give to her.. as long as she is not unable to own firearms..but that doesn't sound like it from what you posted

    Long guns between pa residents do not require the governments permission.

    Child to parent who are pa residents and vice versa for handguns and long guns do not require the governments permission.

    As others said just give it to them
