Damn. Why are scopes so expensive? That's a lot of money.

Why do you guys have to kill those beautiful deers? Can't you just buy your meat at the store like everyone else?

    Cool beans on the deer.
    Congrats.

Early archery is my favorite season.
Old mans rifle doe and statewide rifle are behind us.

After Christmas and depending on weather ( my Fudd mentality), I'll be back out with my bow and maybe my 44 Henry. Freezer space is limited till.my wife gets rid of all the cookies ( I'll eat as many as I can).

Cold is affecting me more these years to the point I think im becoming a candyass.
Last year was a no deer season and I passed on a few small buck and doe. My circle of hunting buddies are getting out less and less but we are mostly in.our mid 70s.
Im.thankful I can still climb a tree and drag a deer. My one friend and I were talking about how long we might still be able to hunt and think another 5 years or so might be about it.

Congrats to those of you who scored this year.

Went down to Alabama as usual. Got a big doe and my wife got a nice sized spike, her 2nd deer. Still got a few vacuum packed cuts left from last year's which we're working through in a few fun recipes.
