I personally know 3 people who say they aren't going to vote because they're just one vote and it doesn't matter. If everyone knows 3 such people, then it DOES matter if they don't vote.
WHAT a concept! Apparently, too complex a level of thinking for some.

Every vote tallied up consists of "one vote" - it's not rocket science.

This is another example how votes are stolen!

My vitriol is partially because I'm getting older and being cognizant of my own mortality, I don't like spending time trying to teach others very simple concepts that should not be so hard to grasp. I'm tired of having to be polite to ignorant people or those unable to grasp nuanced concepts that most with an average IQ should be able to grasp easily. The dumbing down of America, along with the fact that universities and media outlets are propaganda arms for the communists is why we have such insanities as people actually believing in nonsense like Climate Change, transgenderism and men in womens' sports, our totally open borders, the craziness that has become our election process, the craziness that has become our criminal justice system. All of this is partially because we've allowed ignorant and simple people to believe their opinions are entitled to respect.

You are entitled to your opinion. You are not entitled to either your own facts, nor your own logic. Respect for opinions needs to be earned. We have completely lost sight of that fact in recent decades. You are not entitled to have your opinion respected. And your logic with regard to this marginal vote thing is thickheaded in the extreme.

At this stage in our nation's history, I have neither the time nor the inclination to deal extensively with ignorant people (Aggie with regard to voter fraud), nor simple people who cannot grasp fairly rudimentary concepts or argue their position with traditional analytical logic. That does NOT mean everyone who disagrees with me. There are liberals I'd be happy to have a few beers with, but they are sharper than the average Joe. I'd still disagree with most of what Bill Maher espouses, but I'd likely enjoy visiting with him because we'd be likely to have an enjoyable discussion and, for the most part, respect each other's position at least to some degree.

Here endeth my rant. You have fun continuing to parade your ignorance and simplicity before the rest of the folks following this thread. By all means, carry on. BTW, Free, I understand your frustration and I share it, for what that's worth. It's your reasoning that is moronic, not your feelings of frustration. I get it.

    By the way ...

Forget the polls, follow the money. In the last two weeks, Kamala's public appearances have rapidly shaved almost ten points off her numbers. However, it will still take a massive effort to get folks like Free to exercise their franchise. Keep up the good fight. You won't win over all of the numb nuts like him, but you can probably entice a few who have become disillusioned with our voting system to give it one more last try. Keep up the fight!

I appreciate your honesty. And to be honest, I feel exactly the same about you. I feel you are just as ignorant and you think I am. At least we agree on something.
    Don’t like me ???? Tough, I don’t give a flying f@@k about ya.

Why pick up a penny on the street?

Because after all, if you find a MILLION of them, then you'll really have something.

    Just doesn't make sense.

Fair disclosure: in Moscow I would see 1 kopeck coins and stop to pick them up, much to my wife's annoyance. A kopeck is worth about 1/10000 cents.

I cannot wrap my head around the fact that anyone with two brain cells to rub together can possibly think it's not vital or will do no good to vote this election. Especially if a gun owner. Really blows me away that they're people that daft walking among us.

It makes sense if one penny at a time is your only source of income, doesn't it?

I feel the same way about people who think their vote matters.

Not really. It would make a lot more sense that, instead of walking around picking up useless pennies, you use that same time to get a job or otherwise find a better way to make money.
