Correct. It appears to be a nothing-burger that was referred to the Judiciary a year ago,
    and has gone nowhere since.

While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

Chuck U Shumer tried to get unanimous consent for this in the Senate a few days ago and the Republicans shot it down. It was all posturing anyway so the Dums can campaign on how evil we are.

"Could this mean amnesty machinegun registration?"

No. This means "No more parts kits".

I do not understand parts kits... to me they are putting a bullseye on your back. Unless you are a SOT.

You can build semi auto guns from parts kits. Like myself and thousands of others do.

Not in the Hood. Got to have those Glock Switches. This law should take care of the illegal Glock switches, Huh? (sarc)

Maybe I missed it, but the Glock switches are everywhere, except in news reports of teen hoods being arrested with them.

I guess cops are unwilling to go after mobs of feral thugs who are armed with machineguns and have zero impulse control, especially when they're minors who are exempt from criminal prosecution, even if the DA's were willing to try.

MUCH safer for cops & FBI & ATF to focus on white suburban grandpas with a rusty WW II bringback. Those guys won't shoot cops, and the DA's are happy to throw them in jail.
