Do you trust the US Gov't?
There are a lot of conspiracy theories coming up on these boards, in addition to all the bailout stuff going on and the new administration coming into power...
So here is the question:
Do you trust the gov't? Do you believe that the Federal gov't has the best intentions, and positive intentions for moving our country forward?
Or do you believe the US Gov't is doing whatever serves them best and they don't really care about the citizens or the future of this country.
Poll is anonymous unless you post how you voted hereThe first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.
Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.

Re: Do you trust the US Gov't?
I voted not sure. I have met many people running for office...not all are bad and looking for what they get out of the office. Just like all cops are not good...not all politicians are bad.
If I remember correctly in school WE ARE THE GOVERNMENT.
So to say.. the government cannot be trusted is like us saying we cannot do it ourselves.
Many parts of the government are VERY CORUPT.
And some of the government is not.
Do I trust state government? NO not fast eddie.
I do trust AG Tom Corbett.

Do I trust the higher ranks of our government? No.
Do I trust those more on the local level? Somewhat.
Do I trust our overall system of government, from election to lawmaking? Yes.

I think Bush couldn't give a rat's ass about most of us, honestly. I'm not going to get into what I think of the 2008 election, but instead, well, here's an article on The MonkeySphere. It's been a good read.
