If some one was to violate this policy and be caught and charged with carrying on their property they would stand a good chance of getting the charges dismissed, because when it comes down to it words have meaning in a court of law. The Common Wealth Of Pennsylvania does not issue "concealed carry permits", they issue License's to carry a firearm.
We the people love our country so let the government fear us.

I just found interesting how he chose to quote "arm" and "trained security". I could picture him winking at the same time.

Ignoring, for a moment, the dubious nature of these signs, who wants to go to the Steamtown Mall, anyway?

Unless it's a felony, I walk right on by.

The prevailing wisdom on POOFA is that if you are caught carrying on private property or violating their rules all they can do is ask you to leave. If you don't leave then it becomes a trespassing violation and that is when the police can become involved.

And this is why I wasn't suggesting anything......I was just say'n.

If the guy has an armed act 235 force on duty, he committed to action when he didn*t have too. Regardless of your opinion of the competence of act 235 guys, at least it*s something.

He*s heading off problems at the pass. There are a few open and concealed carry morons that ruin it for the rest of us. This strikes me as a regrettable balance.
I would agree. I also wonder what their response would be, to those who are qualified and carry under the LEOSA and who may or may not have a LTCF? Specifically retired LEO’s, military as noted in US title 18, 926B. They are trained and must qualify annually.

There is not a single mall, anywhere on planet Earth, that is dying because it prohibits the concealed carry of firearms.

They are stuck with that liability regardless of their policy on concealed firearms.

Get real. They're going to get sued no matter what signs they do or do not have posted.

You are confusing title with function.

    And whoop, there it is.
Strange women lying in ponds, distributing swords, is no basis for a system of government.
