PA 2A rally is this Tuesday!

I can't beileve no one has a thread about this yet. The last few years have been pretty pathetic, we need to put on a better showing. I know the demonrats don't listen to us but they do at least need to see there are still some people who want to keep their rights.

Well, considering this is the first I've really heard anything about it, doubt I'm gonna make it this year. Seems just like last year, nobody is marketing this at all. You can't really be successful if nobody knows about the rally.

The next "rally" I attend we'll make sure they listen.

Pathetic. I just found out about it this weekend through a text. No notice, no promotion. I've been to most of them for the last decade and with Shapiro in charge, we need to be seen and heard. I will be sending GOA a nice note with my thoughts. I haven't sent in my annual donation yet and now I may not.

We didn't have a good showing today as far as numbers - thanks to everyone who made the effort to show up though.
two things that Val spoke about in his speech that would be definite steps in a good direction - possibly holding a weekend rally next year (with a separate lobbying day) and mending relationships between the various pro-2a orgs so they can work together instead of competing.

I'm not involved with the rally at all other than as an attendee, but it does seem there is a gap in communication that we as 2a defenders need to work out. I know I got 2 emails from GOA and 2 emails from FOAC about it. I know that's not ideal but everyone should get on the mailing list for at least one of those orgs (and make sure the emails are not going to spam)
Perhaps I should have posted here about it but frankly I didn't think of it. I will keep that in mind for next year.
