Yesterday's Lowes experience

I just bought some EGO stuff from Lowes. The employee warned me, don't grab the boxes by the strap they are very sensitive. I guess you grabbed the box by the strap. All was well and I checked out.

Fast forward two weeks and I go in for the leaf blower. I carefully pick it up remembering the prior warning. Walk up to the register and WTF do I do? I grabbed the box out of the cart by the strap. Well lefts just say the lady at the register was clueless. The situation was briefly entertaining while she was in full panic mode.


So far I have the following from EGO:

Power station
Weed whacker
Two 400 Watt power inverters
Leaf blower
Lots of battery's
Chain saw (won on a prize drawing)

I grabbed it by the strap. I like the ego stuff.

If you find a video of a bunch of trailer park boys who dont have a full set of teef amongst them, stealing big screen TVs and oral health care products, by all means feel free to share with the class.

Seems like the right tactic (borrowing from the civil disobedience thread) would be to regularly to to Lowes and pull all the straps on all the boxes and have the Lowes rocking and rolling until the little chicom batteries give out.

I would have taken the saw to the front service desk and had them hold onto the item until I was done shopping. Tell them I'll pick it up when ready to check out.
