The real screwed up thing about this is that they agreed to not sell to “surrounding counties” for the next 4 years, and to prohibit sales at the gun shows for the next 2 years. For a pro 2a company, really looks bad on them…
Reminds me of the Clinton/Cuomo "settlement". S&W would agree to Brady Campaign rules in exchange for relief from the Lawfare.

    The boycott trashed S&W.

Sounds like a similar response is needed for this company.

    Nope.

Don't sell yourself short. It's easy to screw them up. And its a lot of diddling around to get right if you lack good measuring tools.
Dindus be smokin' an stealin' vs working and testing.

I'm sure there IS an industry selling them assembled guns. Demand will create supply of some sort.

Nature abhors a vacuum and all that.

Having said that, crime would drop dramatically if laws were enforced and violators punished effectively.

Once a system is in place for finishing these 80% kits into functional firearms it goes pretty well. There's a whole cottage industry devoted to final manufacturing of what was supposed to be a do-it-yourself hobby project. These things were never meant to be finished and sold or distributed en masse for nefarious purposes. It comes down to irresponsible sellers and especially illegal end users causing a legal and fairly innocent hobby project into a criminal enterprise. So we have the same type of situation as we had in the 1930s with a few high profile criminals with machine guns. As a result we get the NFA; and now "Ghost Gun" bans. This is why we can't have nice things!
