I hate waiting for those cash buying fuckers holding up the line while they go in and out of the store a couple of times.

I'm not sure what I would do, I think it depends on the nature of the conflict. I may or may not give it up.
This makes me really respect the sacrifices of everyone during the first two world wars.
I'm SURE I would donate it to the great and powerful GOV.

    Because reasons.

The GOV and Pharma blew away their credibility in the last 4 years.

I was thinking more of a patriotic level, you know, war effort and all.

guess that would depend on the war for me. if we were attacked maybe. funding a war in another country where neither attacked us, nope.

Yeah, no. I can't be patriotic over a country that absolutely refuses to defend its borders and kick out people who are here illegally.

If the govt needed my silver to execute or deport all the illegals, every single one, I might consider it.

If the government, the one that monitors all social media and has easy access to search warrants, orders us all to surrender anything that in their wisdom they deem unsuitable for us to possess, then I would gladly surrender whatever I had of that item, trusting to the good sense of those who achieved power in our trustworthy & cheat-proof elections, thus saving the government the unnecessary time & expense of searching my home, so they can focus on the more obvious scofflaws.

I, for one, welcome our new socialist overlords.
