Why are schools responsible for feeding so many kids? I wouldn't let my kids eat anything the school was giving away for free.

    Because "food insecurity".

    That's why.

If the libs want to claim responsibility for feeding every child, then they can take the blame for poisoning them too.

How much salt is too much? I need a lot of it when I work due to the sweating. If you cut out salt completely,
you die. Some people do that.

Well, if you're willing to send your kids to a public school, the food served should be the least of things to worry about.

“How much salt is too much?” Is there such a thing?
I put salt on everything I eat - perhaps not on bacon or buttered bread, but certainly on ice cream. And, if I can’t SEE the salt on the food, there isn’t enough.

Most people are not sensitive to salt and it does not raise their blood pressure. Blacks and certain other races are sensitive but most Europeans and Asians can eat all they want with no increase in blood pressure. When you get older some people can become more sensitive but with a school lunch we are talking about kids where it doesn't matter.

To "save" us the US has a low salt recommendation of about 2.5 grams a day compared to the rest of the world where it is around 5 grams per day. This article is just slanderous clickbait singling out lunchables.

Yep. Scary Americas words: salt, lead, and cadmium. And we know too well how the media likes to scare people with lead...
