🎣 MIDDLETOWN, Pa. The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission is alerting drivers of a phishing scam targeting E-ZPass account holders.

Sunday afternoon, Turnpike officials were advised of the scam. According to a press release, pass users received text messages from a number that purports to be “PA Turnpike Toll Services.” The texts attempt to request personal financial information to settle “outstanding toll amounts.”

Man, the scammers are good. They cover just about everything. Sadly, they are masters at their business.

My twin sons left for Syracuse at 5 am to watch the eclipse. They got a text just after getting there. I told them to ignore it.

They must be sending it to random numbers as his number is not on the account.
