Gun Tests Magazine - Anyone subscribe?

The American Gunsmithing magazine has ceased publication with the March 2024 issue and they switched people who subscribed to Gun Tests magazine for the remainder of their subscription period.

Anyone on the forum subscribe to Gun Tests? Do you like it or is it just ho-hum?

I got my first one yesterday and will be reading it to see if it is worth renewing but would like some feedback from those who get it regularly.

I only just recently let my subscription expire after about 8 years of getting it. It's probably the most honest magazine on the market.

I have subscribed off and on. I like it but they do test a lot of guns I wouldn't buy.

I’ve been a subscriber for about 10 years now. Their reviews are excellent and honest. If a gun performs poorly it gets a poor rating. Not something you see in the average gun rag. Also, if a new gun performs badly, they’ll usually send it back for repairs and test it again when it gets returned. I’ve used their ratings to decide on whether to purchase a specific guns or not.

I've subscribed for years. It's like the Consumer Reports of guns. They buy different guns, test them, and report what they find. Since they accept NO advertising, they are free to call them like they see them and ratings of "F" for various guns are not uncommon. If this type of information interests you, then you will enjoy it.
