    There were quite a few in one of the places I hunted as a yute in Joisey.

    Nothing surprises the shit out of you like a covey of quail taking off when you're right in the middle of it.

    I knew a guy that would raise them and pheasant and release them. He had about 60 acres all fenced in with 4' welded wire. Not gonna stop deer or birds, but you couldn't use the "Oh, I didn't know it was private property" line. Good guy, passed away probably 15 or so years ago. The PGC should stock birds, would be nice.
