    Default Constitutional Carry

Well in light of both Louisiana and South Carolina passing Constitutional Carry in their states.

I just called both my PA Senator Lisa Boscola (D) and PA Rep. Ann Flood (R) offices asking them to submit bills for Constitutional Carry in PA.

Telling them I'd like to see PA the 30th state with Constitutional Carry.

The woman on the phone at Senator Boscolas' office did not sound very welcoming to the idea.

While the woman at Rep. Floods' office sounded very supportive of the idea.

Unpopular opinion maybe, but I don't see any gun/2A Bills getting
signed into law by our Democrat governor.

Until that changes we will more likely be lucky simply to hold what we
    now have.

FWIW, I am very confident that my PA Senator and PA Rep would support
such a bill. So if it looks like anything might happen let me know and I
will get with my Reps for support.
While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

I have one on each side of the fence here but the D has no problem supporting bills that won't pass so I'll have to whisper in her ear about it.

Not that it will stop the Marxists in this state, but overall, citizens aren't buying into the "ban guns" lie....

I know it won't go anywhere with Boscola, she's just another Liberal Progressive Communist Democrat. And while Rep. Flood may submit a Constitutional Carry a bill in the house, I know the house is controlled by Liberal Progressive Communist Democrats and it won't go anywhere.

It doesn't hurt to let them know what's on our minds, the PSP website says there are over 1.6 million LTCF holders in the Commonwealth. It would be a great thing if those 1.6 million voiced their opinion on the matter.

Pa is not where it needs to be be politically to get this passed and hasn*t been since Corbett was governor. As Curmudgeon said, Shapiro like Wolf before him would veto the bill. As it is now a bill might get out of the Senate, but would not make it past the house. Even if it did there are nowhere near the numbers to override a veto.

I hate to sound defeatist, but I think Pa*s best years as far as gun laws are behind us. The state has been creeping further blue for years. We have 2 democratic federal senators, a Democratic governor for the 3rd term in a row and a house that is now blue. It feels like when, not if the Senate will be lost. If that happens, look for gun control bill to start passing.

Hopefully I am wrong. But I have not been feeling hopeful about the future of this state as guns go.

The Republicans would be sure to kill any Constitutional Carry Bill. They don't want upset the cat lady voters in the Philly suburbs.

Probably need to fix our elections and get rid of a few communists before that will ever have a chance in PA...
