Default 🤔Over 120,000 biometric gun safes recalled: 'Ticking time bombs'

🔐 There have been nearly 100 reports of unauthorized access to the recalled gun safes, including a 6-year-old boy.

WASHINGTON — Around 120,000 biometric safes designed to store guns and other valuables have been recalled because the safes can be opened by unauthorized users.

The Consumer Product Safety Commissions announced recalls Thursday for biometric gun safes manufactured by Bulldog Cases, Awesafe, MouTec and Machir. The agency said the faulty locks pose a serious injury hazard and risk of death.

It doesn't sound as bad as this one where all you have to do is pull off the door handle and get to the pistol.

I would only trust a safe that is accessed by asking Alexa to open it for me.

I have the one marked "Original". Good luck finding one for $40 or whatever
most POS handgun safes are selling for. A shoebox on the floor of your closet would be better.

I can open it in the dark, in the blink of an eye, no electronics/batteries/whizbang.

It's amazing how many people will spend any amount on guns and then go get the cheapest safe they can find. What you posted is quality shit.

Their larger safes appear to be very high quality as well, I think it's a shame that
the same type of Simplex locking mechanism does not seem to be available for
    them as well.

Good thing you don't use Siri. In my experience she can't find her ass with both hands let alone open a WiFi enabled safe.

Siri was OK until she fell off the wagon. I think that happened when Alexa threw her out.
