The Great American outdoor show
My Kindergartner rode my shoulders, eating fries like a red headed seagull. She LOVED the dock dogs, so that was worth it right there. The Gentlemen running the Mec-gar booth were great to talk to. I bought a knife from the Buck booth, she was really nice. It was crowded, but everyone was cool. We parked at bass pro, took the shuttle.

Re: The Great American outdoor show
I went today with my son. Got there at 9 and parked 100’ from the main entrance. Waited til 9:30 to get in line with pre-paid tickets.
It never really got busy, and that’s why I love going on Tuesday
Didn’t buy much, got a pretty cool silicone speed loader tray that will be nice at the range

Their show special was $25 for 1 or 2 for $40. The guy gave it to me for $20 cash
Good day walking around checking stuff out. There was a constant buzz going around in overheard conversations about Trump coming on Friday.
Had nachos in the food court tunnel and saw some PA Guardsmen walking around with Cavalry hats on. Cool look for such an event.

Re: The Great American outdoor show
I was there yesterday.
Not too crowded.
Lots if cool gadgets but didn't buy much.
Some fishing lures and small items.
Going back shortly from Hotel.
I'll stay till noonish.
Delivered some brass and bullets.
Knees are giving me shit today.
A couple ibuprofins and I'll se if I can find a vacuum sealer and anything else that might catch my fancy.
Stopped by the Kahr / Tommygun booth and Bs'd with Roadking who hooked me up with a hat ( I was wearing the Kahr hat he gave me a couple years ago).
Talked to ER Shaw guy about an AR barrel and will stop by their shop.
On my way out, I bought a holster for my S&W 66-2 4" from Shamrock Holsters. I bought the main shoulder belt last year for my redhawk. The additional holsters snap onto.the main belt.
I like the system.Last edited by 27hand; February 7th, 2024 at 09:26 PM.
Opinions are like anal apertures. They all stink but mine.
