    Default How to close out a thread

    My question is how do I close out a thread that I posted and have already recieved the information that I needed.
    Any ideas, please let me know.

    Yup, just let it fade into the rest of the forum. If anyone else comes along and searches for the same thing you asked for it'll come up and they won't have to ask the same questions.


    Problem is, nobody uses the F$^%#* search feature before posting.

    ..... well you could start yet another OC/CC debate in the thread in question, then start calling people names who don't agree with the way you think everyone else should carry .......

    it'll be locked closed and deleted in no time .....

    If a thread absolutely needs closed, hit the report thread button...otherwise, just let it quietly die (or you follow the process described by Soberbyker...LOL, but keep in mind that that may also incur infractions upon yourself!)
