I'd go with either my Browning Buckmark Hunter or my S&W 1911 PC. Both have fantastic triggers and are always accurate.

Best custom gun was a Caspian 2011 in 40 cal. Everything about it was perfect.

Best factory gun was a Beretta 89 GS in 22LR.

I have a Les Baer Heavyweight Monolith that is a damn fine pistol, but a friend's Sig P226 X-Six PPC, was the finest pistol I have ever fired. They are no longer produced as far as I can tell.

Best shooting pistol is a SAR K2 .45. Barely any recoil, super smooth and crazy accurate.

Second place, believe it or not, is a plane Jane USGI RIA .45. The damn thing shoots like a laser beam wherever you point it. Even with the little fixed sights.

I know, it's laughable but true. Anyone that's shot either of them, literally said, "Damn!"

I have a Springfield 1911 45 that was customized by John Yanek that I would put up against anything else out there. Had it done back when I was shooting IPSC and he did a super job on it. Also the most money I ever spent on a gun...
