Other than if simply a lever fan or in a crap State, why would I want a lever 5.56 when I could have any decent AR?
What happens when the AR finally gets banned? It's not a question of if, it's when. High cap mags will go right along with them, but maybe grandfathered for ones you own. The reason these new lever guns are starting to show up is because some manufacturers are seeing the writing on the wall. And for some, as others have mentioned, it's just something different. Not everything has to be an AR or AK.

Modern / tactical lever actions don't do much for me. I would like to see someone reintroduce a pump action rifle.

Guess I forgot I said that in another post. That must have been the night I tried that new $10 bottle of scotch.

I just wish more were originalistic in design, something like the Winnies, Marlin pre-336, etc. Wood, no plastic shit.

I've seen them advertised for sale online. But out of my budget for the moment.

    I'll be buying one eventually.

Someone had them for $999 recently. Maybe CDNN.

    Grabagun has them in stock.

    Edit: It was Battlehawk Armory.

God bless Frenchy (RIP) - he was a saint for selling it to me for $150 back in 2008. (or maybe $125 - can't remember now, but wasn't more than $150)
It's rough looking, but I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Now, where can I get a modern .357 magnum that will run a 50 round drum mag???
