.223 ammo @ reasonable prices?
Hello all, first posts here. I have a new S&W MP15 that I bought after the election. I have a really cool rifle but it does not work well without ammo. I am having trouble finding reasonable priced .223 ammo in the Philly area. Anyone know where to get cases of 1000 without spending $500?

Welcome to the board. your best best to check around online. There is only one place locally that I found that has comparable prices. Ammo isn't cheap either way. Check out www.ammoman.com

Welcome to the forum.
For bulk ammo Spabula is correct; search online.
It may take a week or so for your order to ship (thanks Obama) but I have used the following online dealers before and was pleased with their prices.

I go to Dan's Ammo, he's only a 30 minute ride from my place. He's out of Fiocchi (which is damn good ammo) right now but he's listing some Russian Barnaul for $125/500 count. Great guy to deal with too.

Try www.aimsurplus.com I just bought 500 count case of wolf for $128 shipped. I haven't received it yet but it was showing in stock when I ordered.

Clayton's in Horsham, PA has PMC for 7.50 per 20 rounds. It's a decent price.

i usually order from AIM surplus, prices are good and they dont hammer you on shipping. was buying 500 lots of silver bear for 130 shipped before the election-not sure whats going on pricewise now but i think they said they are keeping prices stable until distributors raise theirs
