Straw Purchases

I bought 2 guns. Little ccw guns. I mentioned to my FFL that i was trying to teach my wife to shoot. He said that I can't let her ccw my gun without risking legal trouble, and the gun should be transfered to her and not me if she was going to ccw it. I assured him that was not the case, i just want 2 guns, but I thought it would be a good one for her to practice on.

My wife has fired a gun exactly once, and will be a liability in any situation, but she has her ccw to carry guns for me.

Maybe I'm wrong but if your wife has her LTCF then there shouldn't be any legal trouble for her carrying a gun you purchased. I'd have to dig up info but recall reading stuff that clearly stated you can let someone use your handgun as long as they've got a valid LTCF.

Non-FFL loans or transfers between PA spouses are excepted, and lending to a PA resident who has a PA LTCF is also excepted.

You're not wrong. The gun shop that gave him that advice was wrong.
