We hear the stories, but we never hear of a prosecution/verdict/sentence, but hear the cry for MORE LAWS which will also be ignored.

The Kellerman "study" included drug dealers and violent criminals in the category "gun owner".

    A detail...

"The study examined 25 potential risk factors and six others related to gun ownership. Only six factors retained a signficant association in Kellermann's final model and they are shown below with their odds ratios:

    Variable Adjusted Odds Ratio
    ---------------------------------------------------
    Illicit drug use 5.7
    Home rented 4.4
Any household member hit or 4.4
hurt in a fight in the home
    Case subject or control 3.7
    lived alone
Gun or guns kept in the home 2.7
    Any household member arrested 2.5"

Trouble I have is that "Republican" does not translate to "pro-gun".

I mean, get a load of this Republican.

"take the guns first. Due process later. I like that".

If all guns vanished today there would still be violence in those towns, because of economic problems stemming from crummy City Government and a "culture" driven by the War on Drugs.

The war on poverty is a leftist plot to make people dependent upon government.
