P08 Luger Gunsmith needed
I have a very early Luger, 1916 I believe, that needs a skilled hand. It's slam firing and the trigger doesn't always reset. Looking for a competent gunsmith who has experience with Lugers, and doesn't want the shirt off my back.

Re: P08 Luger Gunsmith needed
I never used him but there is a well known gunsmith called Lugerman in Bucks county. His specialty is restoring Lugers and Broomhandles. Not sure of his prices but I am sure he could fix it.

Re: P08 Luger Gunsmith needed
I second Lugerman. Be prepared for the price of the work though. Quality work isn*t cheap.
If you haven*t done so already, deep clean it. Slam firing could be due to old dry grease.Crusader's local #556 South Central Asia chapter

^^^Yup^^^
I lust after one of his .45 ACP Lugers. Maybe someday when I'm done buying other guns, I've retired, and hopefully he's still in business. Anyway, he lists P08 services on his website. He's also a member here.
