We constantly had drivers come into the dealship service depatment complaining about bad fuel mileage, when we pulled up the idle time stored in the computer and showed them the amount of idle time that they logged it was pretty easy to explain why their MPG's were down.

When I wrenched at Ford, they would not even address fuel mileage on diesels.
