I looked on the PGC website after hearing another story recently. The last man at the range was picking up brass. The officer told him that he wasn't allowed, and that he was taking PGC property.
That is definitely a bunch of BS, and you are encouraged to pick up brass based on the website, so long as you are not on an active range.

It*s been mentioned before but it bears repeating.
The pcg *officers* are the lowest rung on the Pa. law enforcement ladder. They receive little training and what they do receive is infused with institutional folk lore. It takes a foia request to find this out.
It appears they discard what actual laws are and substitute their own interpretation of what a given statute actually says. On top of that, many of their members appear to be folks that would be rejected from other law enforcement positions. When people like that are turned loose, there*s gonna be trouble like mentioned in the OP.Crusader's local #556 South Central Asia chapter
