I have both PA and CT permits and do transport, but you have to follow the most restrictive side of things, so in this case, 10-round CT mag limits, no magazine extensions more than 1" below the grip of the gun, etc., etc., etc. Also, if you pass through New Jersey (or New York, but NJ has odd ammo laws), FOPA will cover the firearm, but not magazines or ammunition, so again, 10 rounds or less and no "New Jersey hollow point" ammunition. (I usually carry Federal HST but I have Hornady ammo I use for such an occasion).
I travel through NJ and NY at 0-5 MPH max over the speed limit, and above all, DO NOT STOP. Plan on making it across the CT border before stopping.
