Costco frowns on carry, period. But concealed is concealed and they're not patting down at the door.

I'm currently using a desantis IWB and carrying an S&W sigma 9mm new gun isn't an option for several months.
Maybe consider moving your holster to the 3 or 9 o'clock side. When I used to carry IWB, I always used a N8 Tactical holster. The OT2 is the most comfortable IWB holster I've ever found, and I have a couple of boxes of old holsters that I've tried over the decades. Also, consider a smaller gun. The SIG P365 is the tops, in my book, for IWB. If you don't like SIG and want to stick with S&W, the Shield Plus is great, too, albeit larger.

You could always go with pocket carry, but then you're looking at smaller gun. Due to some medical issues, that's the route I've had to take. I find the P365 to be too big and heavy to pocket carry. Instead I carry a Ruger LCP Max in my front pocket. Allows me to comfortably wear a belt so my pants don't slip off the flat part that is my behind.

Usually i'm just in there with a tshirt, owb would definitely have the barrel pointing out below it. iwb makes sure it doesn't pop out.

I definitely prefer IWB @ 3:30ish. Small autos to 1911's, sometimes when I'm sitting in the car I have to check to be sure I have it with me. Do it long enough and you'll forget it's there.

Carrying a gun is supposed to be comforting, not comfortable. Nonetheless, decisions have to be made. I’m morbidly obese. My decision was something small and light enough to be pocket carried. I recommend you live with the pain of your current decision until you can afford to make a better one.

A hammerless snub nose at 1:00. My gut just hangs over it. Not real comfy but doable. Better way is a full size 9mm in a crossbreed supertuck at 3:30. I like it best. Or a NAA mini revolver in a shirt pocket.

You're the second person to mention the supertuck I can definitely see the appeal but for someone who is almost 400lbs do you think the backing will actually hold your gut away from the gun enough to make it at least more comfortable?

I have a G27 in my pocket lol.

I bought a 43 for that purpose but realized the 26/7 are only just a touch wider.... should've never bought the 43 as it's sat ever since.
