Not sure if posted anywhere yet but Lake City stopping commercial production of ammo. A run on ammo from distributors and price increases happening I’m told.

I've been getting pmc xtac just fine. Prices are creeping up though.

The last time I bought ammo I paid 163.00 shipped for 1k 9mm
.556 pmc 200.00 a case.

I was at my shop and he was talking with his distributors about recent drying up of ammo and distributors receiving several large orders. And then informed about Lake City.

5.56 hasn*t been 200 a case in a looooong time.

I still have a couple thousand Winchester Q3131a Israeli made 5.56 that I paid 120.00 per thousand, bought around 2000-2001 or so. And a couple thousand 9mm I paid 7.99 a box at Walmart right before they stopped selling it.
