Default 9mm sub gun of choice?

Partly for fun, partly for some direction down the road. Let's say you had $1,000 to spend on a nontraditional 9mm pistol (sub gun) and accessories. What do you buy, and why? 100% play item, not for practical use.

Scorpion is the best, most reliable, most durable, most comfortable, most economical. Million aftermarket parts for them, all very well made.

I had the chance to buy a colt ar15 in 9mm brand new for 700.00 a couple years ago. What an ass.

I'm not a fan of PCC's at all, including the subgun style with brace and pistol length barrel. I will admit there is a niche for them as home defense guns, but on the range I would much rather have a standard style of pistol.
