A AR in 9mm would be my 2nd choice, but only in SBR configuration, I think a 9mm with a 16* barrel is pretty useless and not much added benefit to a longer barrel.

    Pistol?
All of them are pretty much dumb as fuck without a stock, or a brace - and with braces being out at the moment...

Actually, an AR 9mm pistol would be the most usable since you can put your cheek against the buffer tube.
Otherwise, you're pretty much stuck doing the push/pull thing with a single point sling.

But if you just wanna point something down range and blast away, I guess any of them will work just fine.

I have a CZ Scorpion and really liked it. Then I got an SP5, which is far beyond the EVO. I vote AP5. It may have some issues, but a $10 HK extractor spring will fix it.

My Stribog has been great and prices are dropping. They also started selling 16* conversion kits because of the brace debacle.

Truck gun, travel while loaded legally and having something beefier than a pistol.

MP5 platform is the only answer.

Unparalleled smoothness, unparalleled suppressor performance, unparalleled track record.

    Everything else is a toy.

Majority of AP5*s run great right out of the box, it*s the P and M models that can give you some trouble. I have a AP5-P and had some issues with extraction, replaced 3 parts with HK parts, extractor, extractor spring and ejector, since then over 3k rnds without any failures.

Also have a SP5 and as you said, much above what the OP wants to spend. As far as the AP5 goes, for what they*re selling for right now it*s IMO an easy choice of what*s on his list.

Sterling Mk IV, select fire. A true sub gun, and flawlessly reliable.

Check out the target at :05 to :10. Look at how controllable the Sterling is.
