Can*t speak for beretta. But I can speak for Ruger. Had some issues with a LCP Max shooting low.
I sent them a message on their website. They mailed me a new upper / barrel and spring. Fixed the issue. All free of charge. Quick and easy with no hoops to jump through . Very impressed with their service.

So far, I have no experience with H&K's customer service.

I did years ago..very friendly and no problems, they didn't even charge me for the parts and labor. It was a broken sear spring in a USP compact

Every Glock I have owned, worked perfectly out of their plastic box. Just saying.

Sorry you are having a hard time getting them to stand behind their product. I have not heard of this type of service from them. I hope it works out for you. It sucks when you spend your hard earned money on a product that is supposed to be above average and it turns out to be a junker.

Regarding the 1301 ammo issues, what type of ammo were you running? I know with my wife's 1301 it would not cycle lighter loads until after we ran it through Beretta's prescribed break-in of 200-300 rounds of high velocity ammo. After that, it runs everything except super light target stuff.
