Local[Western Philly Suburbs] Source for Garand Clips?
Well my CMP order[SG SA M1 Garand + M2 Ball] will be arriving today and my 2nd order of M2 Ball on clips won't arrive until next week. Does anyone know of any individuals or stores in the suburban Philadelphia area who sells Garand clips? I just need one, preferably within driving distance[10-15 minutes] from King of Prussia.
I know they are dirt cheap with the ammo I ordered from CMP but I assume I would be paying $2-$3 for a single one at a retail store. I really want to shoot it on Saturday and would rather not have to drive to a gun show and pay admission just to find a clip.
Thanks!

Unless they quit doing it, I thought that CMP sent one clip along with the rifle.

I hope so! I looked on their site, searched their forums but couldn't find any info on what is included with the rifle...and they're taking forever[weeks] to approve my forum registration so I couldn't ask there. I saw a website where a guy describes and has pictures detailing the ordering and receiving process but didn't see any clips in the pictures.

I bought a Garand a couple weeks ago. It arrived with one clip.

A lot of people make a big deal about WWII dated guns and things. I think Korean era guns and things are just as cool.

Re: Local[Western Philly Suburbs] Source for Garand Clips?
Don't get me wrong I didn't ask for a lower serial #, in fact I didn't attach any sticky notes to my order asking for a newer looking stock or anything. It's just pretty cool that my first Garand was built during WWII. It might be a little unlikely that it ever saw service in the war being that it was produced less than a year before the end but it's possible. In reality there is probably a greater chance of it having seen service in the Korean War.
