    Have you tried Dalessandro's?

Yes. I like Dalessandro*s. But anymore there is a huge line outside that I am not waiting in.

It must be the spot for college kids and their parents to visit while in that area checking out colleges.

And at least once a week someone is hit by a car trying to run across Henry Avenue.

I hit Pudgies. Maybe at an earlier recommendation of yours. It was good. A lot of meat. Actually too much. But yes it is kind of off my beaten path.

That will never happen. Ever see the chickens running around East? They ain*t giving them up.

An old greasy spoon that I would frequent for breakfast closed after like 25 years. A lot of hipsters were moving into that neighborhood and the new owner turned it into a vegan spot. I stopped in just for the hell of it. They had things like vegan cheese steaks, pepper egg and cheese, etc. It was terrible. But the place is still in business.

You know how long this new place is going to have to be in business before it gets the correct Vomit Soaked Gutters ambience?

It'll be just like when they moved TastyKake, that clean new equipment ruined the flavor.

Those morons deserve to get splattered. If you want to rack up a huge number of arrests, put the line under surveillance on any given Saturday.

That said, try this place https://www.mamaspizzeriacheesesteaks.com/

I've heard raves about them but yep, everytime I drive by on my way to Ridge Avenue there is always a line out there.I don't see how the little place right across the street is able to make any money.

Best thing about Jim's in Springfield is that they are open late when better places are closed.

Had it a few times. It's good. I have good places closer. Leo's in Sharon Hill is my favorite.

I totally agree. Sometimes they go to shit even before they branch out, like the Anchor Bar in Buffalo did.
