Meh, they're feral and destructive vermin. They should do the same at the southern border.

If someone posted vids of kids stomping and burning mice alive, everyone would say that those kids have the makings of serial killers or similar.

No they wouldn't now, cats or dogs would be another thing. The video features well outfitted gun enthusiasts effectively dealing with invasive animals, how would you have them deal with the problem? I saw no abuse going on either.

I'm not into animal abuse either and those who are, are mentally ill. However, I don't consider shooting a pest to be animal abuse. I'm a live and let live kind of guy but if an animal is damaging my stuff, he's a target. And that includes deer, groundhogs, rabbits, squirrels and feral pigs, amongst other things.

How is it barbaric to use a caliber that kills more effectively? Would it be civilized if the pigs suffered more before dying?

Wasteful I would grant you, but barbaric no.

'Wasteful' is in the mind of the beholder. When I go to the range, I shoot a couple mags worth through whatever I am shooting. Others shoot hundreds of rounds or more. I think they're being wasteful but It's not my concern.

Oddly,as an animal lover and gun enthusiast I probably would never shoot one of those hogs if they moved onto my land but I would allow others to come and do so as long as they removed the carcasses.

I guess I'll have to watch it.
Title suggests they exploded them to death or something.

You do realize there are calibers between 5.56 and 50 cal, right ??? I grew up hog hunting a ton. Never found the need for a 50 Cal or a mini gun. But to each their own.
    Don’t like me ???? Tough, I don’t give a flying f@@k about ya.
