Nitride vs Cerakote for Muzzleloaders
I wasnt sure where to post this, so mods feel free to move it. I am looking at getting a new inline muzzleloader and i am not sure which is the better choice. cerakote or nitride. 777 is the powder that i use if that helps.

Re: Nitride vs Cerakote for Muzzleloaders
I don't think there is a huge difference which you choose since the cleaning process will mostly be the bore of the barrel and not that harsh on the exterior of the barrel. Maybe cerakote will be slightly better in wet weather but I would say choose what you like the most.
