Default Anyone else watching deer they hope to score this year?

I have a couple on camera that I would hope would walk by.

I got a few acres in Indiana and have 3 shooters appearing on cams.

So far, I'm liking this guy.

Ive never gotten a huge antlered buck but have scored smaller buck the last 6 years in my back yard including the small body 14 point nontypical.

I keep watching right up to the point they all crawl into a hole which is coming up in a month or so.

    Anyone else?

Due to a stupid injury, this is the first year in many years that I have ZERO cameras out either at home or at camp. Archery isn't looking like a possibility this year, so I guess I will be heading into a rifle season stand blind. I don't really care much about not having bucks identified, but I miss checking pics and seeing other critters like fox, bears, yotes etc...

    Damn Jules.
Hope you're ok and glad you can get out for rifle.
I've done a few things that limited my hunting seasons.

Watching the cameras is one thing I really enjoy.
Everything from squirrels triggering the cams thru antler development.

It would be cool to see a bear on one of my cams in Southern Indiana Co. but neighbors haven't seen any.

Turkey, fox, opossum, yotes, rabbits and ground hogs are the norm.
A sparrow hawk on a small kill was cool once.
A week ago, I had a small 4 point walking after a bearded turkey before coming back to the salt lick ( which has to leave in a week or so before early archery starts on 16 Sept)

Hope you recover quickly and get to enjoy some hunting time this season.

I*ll the bucks I*m watching right now will only show up on my cams between the hours of 9 PM and 4 AM starting oh, around Sep 29. My recent harvests are all via doe tag. To be honest, looking forward to retiring in nearing future to spend more time in the stand vs only Saturdays when schedule permits and try and grab one of the ghosts up there.

I need to start putting some out myself. I know of a slammer but the farmer wants me to leave him alone and I*m not going to upset the man. It*s nice have 350 acres to hunt on and have free access. I need to start posting the place again like it will really keep the slobs out..

Anyone going bear hunting this year or out west? I*ve got 3 points each for muledeer and pronghorn antelope for Wyoming. I have one more good hunt left in me for out west.
