An elderly driver smashed into a Los Angeles car dealership Wednesday, striking and killing a 55-year-old woman who got pinned beneath the car and dragged several feet, officials said. The unnamed victim was inside the Toyota dealership in the Mission Hills neighborhood just after 9 a.m. when the horrifying accident occurred, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The 84-year-old female driver was taking her SUV into the shop’s enclosed service center when she unexpectedly sped through the area.

Those damn Toyotas and their unintended acceleration.
At least 10 years before that whole shitstorm happened, an older woman came in to check out her car. It had just come from a body shop to repair the damage after she crashed into Yum-yum donuts in Colmar as she was attempting to park.
According to her, it just "took off by itself." This was a '98 Camry with a cable operated throttle body. I was told to look for anything that could have caused this.
