State Senator Greg Rothman proposes streamlining PA processes
https://senatorrothman.com/2023/07/1...-95-reopening/
Summary: PA State Senator Greg Rothman congratulated everyone involved with the rapid restoration of I-95 after a fire destroyed a bridge. He noted that many projects cannot get through the permit phase in two weeks, the time needed to restore the bridge. He is asking for a review of all processes conducted for the bridge restoration to determine where those processes were waived or accelerated. Here is the good news, he isn't seeking wrongdoing. He is seeking a faster path for all future projects. Kudo's to the Senator for using the restoration process as a basis for his proposal. It's going to tough to argue that the processes are necessary when the outcome was touted by all.
I am not naïve enough to think this is an easy dunk, there are state, local and union entities to protect. However, at least someone in PA state government is using their head.Let me help you out. Which way did you come in?

But the kickbacks. Will they be able to protect/assure the kickbacks? I wish him well. It will not be an easy task...

Unions are the biggest detriment to getting jobs done.
In Washington DC there is only one party, theirs and it has nothing to do with us.
