Another vid where the mag goes kerflooey...

Completely unrelated, at 4:10 in the video, the one handed grip they're using is incorrect. I see this a lot. The thumb should be down, not up. When the thumb is up like that, you're not getting a complete grip, and it affects accuracy and recoil management. Not to mention, it puts more strain on the tendons in the wrist. Something I learned many years ago from Bill Wilson.

I personally do not like the safety on the trigger. My G30 is the last gun I bought with one back in 2001.

I don't mind it. I've never had one fail, and any good holster that covers the trigger guard mitigates any risk of a ND.

I just skimmed through. Are you talking about where it says that the extended mag base plate was improperly installed?

Wouldn't that be operator error, since it ships with that base plate loose, in the box for the user to install if desired?

It happened in the second vid I posted, as well. And they only got the extended mag from Springfield, so it may have come from the factory for the reviewers that way. Neither one says who installed the baseplate, or admits to it being the reviewer's error.

I don't like it while shooting, just doesn't feel right on my trigger finger.
