Meh. The overall design blows Glock out of the water, but it's still just a big, clunky handgun, of which I have little use for.
    Doesn't matter if it's literally a Glock-killer - I don't have much interest in it.

Things I*ve heard that sound all to familiar, yet here we are in 2023 and they*re are still at least trying lol. It will catch the newbie*s, uniformed and Glock haters no doubt, fancy looking stuff is just that.

Yeah, I don't "hate" Glocks, they just aren't for me.

Looks like it's biggest selling point is the optics mount. That's going to be a huge plus considering all the trends to put optics on handguns. Not for me though.
The rest of it looks well thought out. Hopefully it turns out to be something great. Time will tell.

I originally thought hard pass because I have an XD-M Elite 9mm 4.5", but maybe I should reconsider and replace it with this if used for carry. Thoughts?

More info...this would be my backup carry so maybe just keep the XD-M & don't waste money? Optics don't sell me as I am an irons guy. I also have a Canik SC that I can carry. EDC is a Hellcat Pro

It definitely has some nice features, all the manufacturers are going that route and rightfully so. I don*t have much hate for any gun with the exception of a few, just personal preference. The more the merrier I say.

My noggin' has long been joggin' that the Caniks have basically replaced the XD end of the market as an "also ran", so I wonder if this is their attempt to claw out another space.

I will go with the "meh" camp as well. Removable chassis seems like limited use to me. Unless you are legally limited to how many guns you own I don't see the point on spending nearly as much on a spare slide, grip, and magazine as you would on another gun.

Strikes me as SA is going after the SIG P320.

I agree, it almost seems like they were trying for the handgun trials but missed the deadline by a few years lol
